 Testing & Certification Services
Proofloading Inc. offers the largest test facility in Southern Alberta. Items are inspected, tested, certified and tagged with their Safe Work Load (SWL) usually the same day. A full line of testing is offered for your rigging equipment including slings, chainfalls, and wire rope up to 450 tonnes.
For new lifting devices, Proofloading Inc. offers you complete design, engineering, fabrication, and testing up to 225 tonnes, including certification. Spreader bars and lifting beams are our specialty.
Engineering services are also available to assist in the design criteria for your existing lifting devices that may not meet provincial Occupational Health and Safety standards, or that were not originally designed by an engineer.
Generally, testing is carried out to ASME B.30 specifications (two times the Safe Working Load). However, we can test to other engineer specified requirements such as; A.P.I. 9A for drilling rigs or DNV specifications. Our pull-to-destruction service is used to determine the ultimate load factor of lifting devices.
